Food and Caloric Burn

Day 4 since my high caloric burn... it has been a struggle to get out of the red as far as caloric deficit is concerned. Those precious calories I built up over time quickly depleted in a two hour all out tri training session. Lacking a good supply of bread set me on a voracious trend downing almost the entire box of GF Vanilla Cupcakes. Fortunately, I hardly ever eat this and my system only tolerated it for a time. As I ate the last cake only 30 minutes ago, I am now experiencing some discomfort. So, it's time to break out the bread machine and experiment making my first GF loaf. Here a list of some ingredients:

Brown Rice
Soy Flour
GF Oats
Oil Olive
Soy Milk
GF Yeast

Do You Like Pina Coladas?

Here is the follow up to an earlier blog post mentioned in the title. Yes, I enjoy this refreshing drink! I have tasted virgin and non-virgin forms. Today, I stick with virgin Pina Coladas. I tried Dole's brand, it was very tasty. Unfortunately, the market stop carrying it. Then I heard that young coconuts contain over 50 percent water and blended together with the soft flesh makes a hearty milk. I quickly found the closet market that sold them. I brought one home and prepared my first raw coconut milk. It was heavenly rich. It was so rich I could only drink a half cup every three days, so it spoiled before I could finish it off. That was the end of my attempt to use this method suggested by my friend the Dietitian. I continued my normal eating habits, though I had consumed more carbohydrates since I was pretty active that summer playing over 2 hours of tennis in the morning and running 3-6 miles in the evening four days a week. As a result my weight did even out during the summer months of 2008.
